Lokmanthan Review Meeting & Website Launch

Lokmanthan Review Meeting Organized by the Intellectual Forum of North East and Prajna Pravah. The event took place on October 19, 2021, at the Sri Sri Madhavadeva International Auditorium in Panjabari, Guwahati

During the workshop, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma emphasized the importance of knowledge in Indian civilization and culture. He highlighted that the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom has been integral to the Sanatan civilization, inspiring progress and a strong way of life. He also mentioned that the science-based folk culture of India continues to influence people worldwide.
The Chief Minister further discussed the upcoming event called “Lok-Manthan,” which is scheduled to be held in Guwahati the following year. He expressed the belief that this event would provide opportunities for gaining new knowledge and preserving and developing folk culture. The meeting also included speeches from Dr. Nani Gopal Mahanta, advisor of the Education Department, Bimal Bora, Minister for Cultural Department, and Nanda Kumar Ji, National Convener of Pragya Pravah.
The Lok Manthan event is planned for February 18-20, 2022, and will feature the participation of numerous intellectuals and cultural research scholars.
