Cancellation and Refund Policy

Introduction

The Intellectual Forum of North East (IFNE) organizes socio-political events, bringing together intellectuals and experts to discuss and address challenges faced by the North-Eastern States of India. This cancellation and refund policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to event cancellations and refunds for participants.

Cancellation and Date Postpone

2.1 Cancellation by Participants

Participants who wish to cancel their registration for an IFNE event must do so within 48 hours after the booking. To initiate the cancellation process, participants must send a written request to IFNE at [email protected]. Cancellations made after the 48-hour period may not be eligible for a refund.

2.2 Date Postpone by IFNE

In rare circumstances, IFNE may find it necessary to postpone or reschedule an event. In such cases, registered participants will be notified via email or other appropriate means. Participants will have the option to either attend the event on the new date or request a refund.

Refund Eligibility

3.1 Full Refund Eligibility

Participants are eligible for a full refund of their registration fees in the following cases:

a) IFNE cancels the event entirely, and participants are unable to attend the rescheduled date (if applicable).

b) Participants request a cancellation within 48 hours after booking and before the event date.

3.2 Partial Refund Eligibility

In some cases, IFNE may offer partial refunds for event cancellations. This includes:

a) Cancellations requested after the 48-hour period but before 7 days prior to the event date. A processing fee of [insert amount or percentage] will be deducted from the total registration fee.

b) Non-refundable convenience or platform fees will not be included in the refund amount.

Refund Process

4.1 Requesting a Refund

4.2 Refund Timeline

Force Majeure
