Intellectual Forum of NorthEast
The organization strives to contribute to the holistic development, well-being, and empowerment of the North-Eastern States, addressing socio-economic challenges, promoting cultural diversity, and fostering the active participation of local communities. The organization actively advocates for the preservation of indigenous knowledge and traditions, promoting the sustainable use of natural resources for the benefit of both present and future generations.
Document and publish research papers, survey reports, and books are as follows. Publish knowledge–disseminating materials such as books, journals, and research reports, and produce films to raise awareness about socio-economic issues and developmental challenges in the North– Eastern States. By combining traditional and modern methods, the awareness-raising initiatives in the North-Eastern States can reach a broader audience, generate a deeper understanding, inspire action, and foster positive change.
Provide consultancy services on socio–economic problems to assist in formulating and implementing effective policies and programs in the region. Initiate socio–economic developmental mechanisms to identify projects and promote the diverse cultures, literature, folk traditions, ethnicity, and sports of tribes and communities in the Northeast. Organize tailored programs for youth empowerment and active participation in the region’s socio– economic development. Acquire assets and facilities to support the organization’s objectives, including workshops and other necessary resources. Educate, train, and provide financial assistance and support to research scholars, social workers, and individuals in various fields, including arts, science, culture, religion, philosophy, theology, educational skills, and social action. Represent voluntary institutions, societies, and organizations to advocate their views and perspectives to legislative bodies, government authorities, regulatory bodies, and the public. Arrange exhibitions, meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, lectures, camps, and programs to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and awareness building. Establish and maintain reserves and funds to support the organization’s activities and other connected purposes. Organize tours, excursions, and visits that facilitate learning, cultural exchange, and exposure to different aspects of socio–economic development.
